I often write little notes to myself or others that seem to serve no purpose other than to get a feeling out of me and into another medium. However important they feel at the moment, their significance fades almost instantly. My memory of them blurs and changes, as do the inciting feelings. These pieces represent my attempt to physically mimic the process of how such feelings alter over time to become a larger structure of memory that both captures and obscures the original experience.
